#1 Google

The present official Google logo was developed by Ruth Kedar, and is a wordmark based on the Catull typeface.

#2 Apple

According to Steve Jobs, Apple was so named as Jobs was coming back from an apple farmstead, and he was on a fruitarian diet. He assumed the name was cool, spirited and not intimidating.

Apple Inc. is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Cupertino, California, that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software and personal computers.

Pixar Animation Studios, or simply Pixar, is an American computer animation film studio based in Emeryville, California.
